Day 15: Flame to visit Isle of Man before arriving in Northern Ireland
The Olympic Flame will be flown from Liverpool John Lennon airport by British Airways today to Ronaldsway Airport in the Isle of Man, on ‘The Firefly’. Thirty-eight Torchbearers will then carry the Flame around the island through Douglas, Laxey, Onchan, Ballasalla and Castletown.

Olympic Flame crosses The Mersey on journey to Liverpool
Today the Olympic Flame will travel 93.82 miles through 17 communities, with 157 Torchbearers carrying the Flame from Bolton to Liverpool where the Evening Celebration takes place

Day 13: Boxer Amir Khan to light cauldron in Bolton
The Olympic Flame will be carried by 113 Torchbearers today, travelling 107.95 through 19 communities, from Stoke-on-Trent to Bolton. Boxer Amir Khan, Unified World Light-Welterweight Champion and Olympic silver medallist, will light the cauldron at the end of its journey at the evening celebration in Queen's Park Playing Fields.
